A soon-to-be Boiler at Purdue University, Erin Cook, plans to continue her studies and major in biochemistry. This is an exciting moment for her especially because Purdue is a more challenging school to get into, specifically when it comes to her choice of major. She hopes to become a pathologist because her interest in the sciences started when she was younger. She explained that both of her parents were scientists, so she generally came to the conclusion that she also wanted to become a scientist of some sort.

When asked to recall a favorite memory at Hackett, she explained that hanging out after band concerts with everyone was most exciting. After band concerts, they went out to get food and hang out with one another. It was especially sentimental because Erin has been a part of a band for all four years of high school, so it is something she will miss when she goes away to college.

With all of the sentimental memories she holds close to her heart, she is really looking forward to her next four years at Purdue University. She is excited about learning more when it comes to her major and meeting new people. While the familiarity of Hackett is something that she will miss deeply, the newfound excitement Purdue holds is making Erin thrilled about her time in college.

With this, Hackett wishes her the best of luck and a huge congratulations to Erin!
